Job Description- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for plastic products.
- Analyze and troubleshoot process issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine processes, incorporating best practices and new technologies.
- Monitor production data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within the plastics industry.
- Proven track record of optimizing plastic manufacturing processes and improving production efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of plastic materials, processing technologies, and quality control methods.
- Proficiency in using process simulation and analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and address complex process issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or other plastic processing techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FDA regulations.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Base salary up to $105,000 depending on experience
