San Jose - Management Analyst I
Overview:
VTG is seeking a Management Analyst I to provide entry level logistics support to the Program Manager California, MD.
Responsibilities:
- In support of VTG’s Product Support Program Manager and supporting Team members, duties will include:
- Greeting Visitors and verifying access requirements
- Coordinating Meetings, Preparing Agendas and Presentation Materials
- Ensuring resources are available for meeting attendees
- Maintaining schedules of meetings, conferences and seminars
- Maintaining Program Manager’s schedule, preparing for upcoming meetings and ensuring participants are well informed
- General Office duties as needed for the safe and effective operations of the Product Support Team members and clients
- Analysis of personnel data for the management of on-going contract execution and Team management
- Documentation of changes in contract performance / operations
- Assistance with on-site projects which require additional resources
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: AA, BS or BA degree.
Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of Product Support operations management / office management experience may be substituted for a degree.
Experience - At least one (1) year of experience in operational logistics support or in-service sustainment support or similar background.
Work hours will be in direct support of the Program Manager; therefore, hours may be fluid at times in order to meet customer/operational requirements. Work schedule flexibility is required. Work will be performed at VTG’s facility in California, Maryland.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Highly proficient with the Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point; well-developed written and oral communication skills; ability to assess established maintenance/business processes, identify/document business process problems and recommend business process improvement initiatives; strong team building skills and ability to develop and maintain schedules of complex projects tracking many variables.
Knowledge of the following areas is highly desirable: a) Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force Organizations; b) Product Support / Integrated Logistics Support Requirements; c) General Office skills; and d) Team dynamics.
