Electronic Test Technician
Large Aerospace and Defense manufacturer is hiring for a Test Technician for their Hauppauge Facility. Candidates with prior experience working in the electroncics industry are encouraged to apply. Candidates with soldering and IPC-610 experience a plus! Responsibilities- Assembles, tests, and/or solders to customer requirements
- Performs complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools
- Trouble shoots and resolves most set up problems independently.
- Uses oscilloscopes, transducers, and other related equipment.
- Troubleshoots and reworks malfunctions disclosed by test data independently.
- Performs diagnostic teardown and rebuilding of product, including evaluation of suitability of components, according to customer specifications.
- Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications.
