Assignment Details:

• Location: Bennington, VT

• Shift: Day Shift – 8-hour shifts
• Pay Rate: $1200 Weekly
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Job Description:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The LPN will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being and safety of residents, administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and assisting with daily care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents following care plans and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the RN or physician.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as needed.
• Document patient assessments, medication administration, and care provided in the medical record.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures.
• Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active LPN license (Vermont or compact state).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care, or a similar setting.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
