Overview:
The Certified Pharmacy Technician will support and assist Pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescribed medications and providing patient care and education.
This is a full-time position in Salisbury, NC (1431 W Innes St.) and the work schedule is Monday through Friday within the hours of 8:30am to 6:00pm.

About the Role:
- Remove drug(s) from stock; count, place product into container and affix the label
- Utilize MedSync for patients with multiple prescriptions to get them on the same anchor dates
- Assist with billing including communication with insurance carriers
- Assist with shipping duties, including processing shipments with courier if applicable
- Type prescription label(s) or enter prescription information into a computer record system
- Interact courteously with patients and team members to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships
- Answer incoming and make outbound calls to patients, case managers, providers, and coordinate deliveries
- Handle payment transactions at Point of Service (POS) and reconcile beginning and end-of-day transactions
- Proactively identify and analyze problems and provide effective solutions
- Perform other related duties as assigned

About You:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be actively Registered as a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in North Carolina
- Must be nationally certified: PTCB CPhT
- 2+ years of related Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong typing and data-entry skills
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation to get to our Salisbury, NC pharmacy on a regular daily basis
- Must have a positive attitude, be energetic and flexible, have excellent phone etiquette, and provide exceptional customer service
- Spanish language skills a plus
