We are looking for a leader to manage our upcoming projects, primarily in Rhode Island.

Job Description

The Construction Superintendent - Public/Commercial Projects In RI will be responsible for:

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to maintain smooth project workflows.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, maintaining a secure and compliant job site at all times.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to address challenges and drive project success.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders through clear and proactive communication.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports, logs, and documentation to keep all parties informed on project status.
  • Identify and mitigate risks or delays, troubleshooting issues to keep projects on track.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for clients and partners.

The Successful Applicant

In return for a generous compensation package, the successful candidates will possess the following:

  • 5-7+ years years of Superintendent experience (running projects start to finish as the lead)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred (or relevant experience)
  • Project experience in one of their core markets:K-12 schools, higher Ed, community centers
  • Experience working locally around Providence preferred
  • Ability to communicate with subcontractors and other project team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
