Purchasing Assistant

Job Title: Purchasing Assistant in Aerospace Manufacturing

Experience in purchasing isn't required but strong time management, attention to detail, and stellar communication abilities are musts. They offer a competitive salary of $55,000 to $60,000 with an excellent benefits package.

As a Purchasing Assistant, you’ll back the Purchasing Manager in daily operations and leverage your initiative and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google products is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Timely response to emails and clear communication of information to customers and department managers
2. Handle all customer and vendor communications
3. Processing purchase orders, invoices, statements.
4. Review of purchase requisitions and research pricing
5. Crafting and administrating purchase orders, which includes emailing POs, liaising with vendors, and securing acknowledgements.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Demonstrated experience in administrative or customer service functions
• Familiarity with manufacturing environment a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work under tight deadlines
