Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech

Duration: 13 weeks contract (extendable)
Shift: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), rotating weekends required

Education:
- High School Diploma/GED
- CST Certification
Skills: 2 years of scrub experience on major OR procedures
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sterilize instruments in preparation for delivery.
- Transport an expectant parent going into labor to the delivery room.
- Work quickly and make fast decisions in fast-paced, potentially stressful situations.
- Prepare the patient for delivery, including providing clothing, washing, and performing any necessary pre-procedure tasks.
- Assist in keeping pregnant patients calm, answering their questions, and explaining upcoming procedures.
- Administer IVs and other medications to patients in labor.

o Completion of an equivalent on-the-job training program with seven (7) years recent surgical tech experience.
