Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Cardiology (Travel)
Location: Dallas, TX (with travel to Rockwall, TX, 2 days per week)
Contract Length: 12 Weeks with possible extension

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with cardiology experience to join a leading healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient clinic settings, strong EKG skills, and familiarity with EPIC (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform EKGs and assist with cardiology-related procedures.
  • Support patient care coordination in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Document patient information accurately in EPIC (preferred) or other EMR systems.
  • Assist providers with exams, treatments, and procedures as needed.
  • Provide patient education on cardiovascular health and medication management.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care.
  • Travel to the Rockwall, TX location (2 days per week) as required.

Qualifications:

✅ LPN Certification (Active and in good standing)
✅ At least 1 year of outpatient clinic experience in the past 3 years (Urgent care, specialty clinics, etc.)
✅ EKG experience is REQUIRED
✅ EPIC experience is a plus

❌ SNF, Corrections, Behavioral Health, LTC, Home Health, and Rehab experience do not qualify
