Medical Collections

We are seeking an experienced Medical Collections Specialist to join our client's team. This position will play a key role in our medical team dealing with high-volume collection tasks, denials, and appeals, so previous experience in this field will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage high volume of medical collections, denials, and appeals
2. Use EPIC software for all related tasks and procedures
3. Provide excellent customer service with professionalism in all interactions
4. Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve account balances
5. Process and follow up on all issues timely and accurately
6. Implement corrective action plans to ensure resolution of problematic issues

Requirements:

1. Proven experience of minimum 2-3 years as a medical collections specialist
2. Experience with high volume collections, denials, and insurance appeals
3. Expertise in EPIC software system
4. Outstanding customer service skills
5. Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
6. Detail-oriented with a passion for precision
7. Relevant certification will be considered a plus
