We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative in the Manufacturing industry based in Lombard, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming calls and providing excellent customer service.
This is a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their inquiries
- Utilize excellent communication skills to de-escalate upset customers and provide satisfactory solutions
- Ensure all customer interactions are recorded and updated in the customer database
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Understand and explain the process and implications of receiving a warning or a ticket to customers
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services to provide knowledgeable responses to inquiries
- Continually strive to improve customer service skills and product knowledge.

- Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry
- Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative
- Demonstrable skills in Customer Service
- Experience in Call Center Customer Service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle complex customer issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using customer service software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.
