Responsibilities:
The mission of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is to execute the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall HR, campuses and Physician Practices. Play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships between HR and stakeholder groups, driving employee engagement, and ensuring HR initiatives contribute to the achievement of strategic organizational goals.
PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP- Support building strong relationships with Physician Practice and campus leadership and HR function leadership, serving as a trusted advisor on HR matters and contributing to business decision-making.
- Meet regularly with leaders to identify HR opportunities while providing support and guidance when needed, and work with leaders to analyze talent requirements.
- Partner with Employee Relations to manage Physician Practice and/or campus employee relations cases from inception to conclusion providing appropriate advice and guidance to individuals and to managers. This includes the investigation and resolution of misconduct, grievance, performance, and attendance cases in line with the organization's policies and procedures and employment law.
- Support the Human Resources frameworks and tools through collaboration and appropriate partnership with HR functions for recruitment, performance management, development, career and succession planning, compensation and benefits, diversity, employee on- and offboarding, and retention of talent, within an area of expertise, ensuring compliance with specified design principles, internal policies, and external legal requirements. Enable the attraction, development, and retention of talent at a sustainable cost.
- Resolve queries from Physician Practices, campuses and functions, as appropriate, by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring to others/centers of expertise (COEs) where necessary for interpretation of policy.
- Deliver complex analyses of HR data; identify key trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of organizational issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of organizational performance related to their areas of accountability.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers in developing, documenting, and communicating solutions (including disciplinary action) for individual Employee Relations cases, support managers at formal hearings.
- Carry out complex HR data processing tasks; advise employees and leaders when needed and use expertise to help improve data collection tools and administration processes.
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Build effective working relationships with leadership, Physician Practices, campuses, functions and staff across the organization, delivering high-quality professional services with guidance from Manager and other senior employees.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED- Minimum of three to five years in roles of increasing responsibility in HR roles
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, Public Relations, or a related discipline
- Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised
- Master’s degree in HR, Business Relations, Organizational Development or related discipline
- Strategic HR Business Partner (SHRBP) certification
