Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Tax Director, the Tax Manager is responsible for, and not limited to:

• Direct and indirect tax compliance for a group of markets in APAC,
• Effective tax planning and execution of tax compliance requirements,
• Support Tax audits and collaboration with local finance teams,
• Manage financial analysis to determine transfer pricing implications and documentation
• Provide tax support for local businesses on operational issues
• Advise the local Finance Directors on changes to tax legislation
• Co-ordinate the preparation and review of tax provisions,
• Tax flow budgeting
• Involvement with other internal control measures and compliance with corporate policies.

• The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Finance and Accounting, and professional CA / CPA qualifications.
• Prior experience in a chartered tax environment or multinational organisation, ideally with exposure to regional tax markets is desired,
• Strong communication skills and the ability to business partner with a wide range of local and oversees departments,
• A customer centric approach to your work, curious in nature to help solve business and operational issues through a Tax lens,
• Understanding of USGAAP desired, not mandatory
• The ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines,
