Senior Accountant
Tatum by Randstad is conducting a Senior Accountant search for a rapidly growing Investment Firm based in Irvine. This is a newly created role due to firm growth and will work closely with senior leadership. responsibilities:Prepare routine journal entries (revenue, cash, AR, operating expenses, fixed assets, AP and joint interest billings, accruals) to ensure proper recognition
Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations of key general ledger accounts
Perform analytical review of balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
Assist in the preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP
Support annual audits and quarterly reviews, providing documentation and explanations as required
Assist in the execution and implementation of various financial projects and system initiatives
qualifications:The ideal candidate must have +3 years of relative accounting experience within the O&G vertical, a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, ability to work onsite Monday-Friday, and strong interpersonal skills.
