Randstad is excited to present a Bookkeeper/Office Manager opportunity with a well-established York, PA company. Our client, a local manufacturer, is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper who can support the accounting team, office team, and some minor HR functions.
This position will report directly to the Controller and offers a variety of accounting, office, and HR duties. What I LOVE most about this opportunity is the tenure throughout the company. Most, if not all, of the current employees have been with the company for many years.

salary: $50,000 - $62,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Detail Oriented
  • Payroll experience – run complete payroll in house for 100+ employees, submit payroll taxes on-
  • line, prepare and print W-2’s and 1099’s in house
  • Accounts Payable experience – coding/batching invoices, cutting/stuffing checks
  • Accounts Receivable experience – enter/mail invoices, enter deposits, month end closing
  • Administration – answer phones, sort and distribute mail
  • Sort out checks/payments and build deposit
  • Human Resources – New Hire Orientations, handle/renew Health Insurance Benefits,
  • handle/renew Commercial Insurance, update company policies, assist employees with insurance
  • issues and questions, 401k benefits, etc.
  • Ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently, update and order supplies, etc.
  • Work closely with the Controller on various projects, etc.
  • Must possess unquestionable integrity, confidentiality, dependability, flexibility, and above-average communication skills (both written and oral).
