We are in search of a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team located in Menlo Park, California. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity within the alternative investment industry. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be expected to tackle complex tax issues, process and manage tax returns, and work with alternative investments.

• Handle complex tax issues and queries efficiently and accurately
• Process and manage complex tax returns in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards
• Provide tax accounting services for alternative investments
• Collaborate with the team to resolve tax-related issues and inquiries
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
• Use your CPA skills to enhance the efficiency of our tax operation
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize our tax position
• Perform regular tax audits and prepare reports
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax accounting laws and regulations
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. • Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Tax Accountant.
• Proficiency in handling Complex Tax and Complex Tax Return scenarios is necessary.
• Experience with Alternative Investments is crucial for this role.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of tax codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining clear, accurate and meticulous financial records.
