Maintenance Mechanic
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing plant in Yaphank, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic welding skills. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of machinery and production lines.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic welding skills (MIG, TIG, or stick welding).
- mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct basic welding repairs as needed for equipment maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
