Homewood Suites Newport Cincinnati is searching for a motivated Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Guest Service Agent eager to give excellent customer service to our hotel guests and ensure they have all they need during their stay.
As the Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Guest Service Agent to greet customers, you will check guests in and out, make adjustments to reservations, recommend local activities or restaurants, and arrange transportation. Our Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Office Agent is outgoing and confident, enjoys working with people, and pays close attention to the details.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Office Agent include:

  • Welcome all guests upon their arrival and provide the guests with a warm welcome.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficient and accurate completion.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide personalized recommendations and assistance.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process guest payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including replenishing supplies and brochures.

Requirements for the Hotel Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Clerk, or Front Office Agent include:

  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
  • Experience working in food service is preferred.
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during the entire shift.
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
