Accounting Manager

Your duties will include recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and providing support for financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including the preparation of journal entries and adherence to accounting standards.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
• Assure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions through general ledger activities.
• Verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly in the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements by staying updated with changes relevant to the industry.
• Carry out regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide necessary documentation and explanations during periodic audits, working closely with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare, file, and pay quarterly and annual sales tax returns to ensure the company's financial compliance.
• Take up any other duties and projects as assigned to support the accounting and finance functions of the team. • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a managerial position.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for carrying out various financial operations.
• Experience in using BlackLine for financial close management and accounting automation.
• Knowledge of EPS for managing earnings per share calculations.
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrating various organizational processes.
• Expertise in various accounting functions including but not limited to financial reporting, bookkeeping, and financial analysis.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Proficiency in conducting auditing processes to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
• Experience in managing Balance Sheet Accounts and ensuring they accurately reflect the company's financial status.
• Familiarity with budget processes, including planning, monitoring, and adjusting budgets.
