Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing care delivered, and the organizational day to day structure of all units within the hospital.

Qualifications

Valid and current registration, NYS RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification with minimum of five years of nursing experience in direct patient care. Previous nurse leadership|management experience preferred.

Comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.

Working conditions and Physical requirements

Regular day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. OSHA Category A potential for exposure to blood and other infectious body substances. Bending, lifting, standing, walking.
