100% Remote Litigation Attorney

Reputable and established defense firm located in Orange County; CA is growing! This firm is seeking a dynamic Litigation Attorney to join their team. As a Litigation Attorney you will be handling various responsibilities related to personal injury/general liability defense, real estate, and construction litigation.

This Litigation Attorney roles is 100% remote!

• Manage a caseload of 10-15 cases, focusing on high exposure, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death cases, trucking cases, products, and premises liability.
• Develop expertise in areas such as personal injury/general liability defense, real estate/title, construction defect, and/or general business law.
• Attend and second chair trials, getting opportunities to gain courtroom experience.
• Utilize your skills in document management to process case-related paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Use your expertise in civil litigation to handle various phases of legal disputes, from investigation and pleadings through trial, settlement, and appeal.
• As a litigation attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in court, drafting legal documents, and managing or advising clients on legal transactions.
• Draft motions and other court documents related to your caseload.
• Conduct depositions to gather necessary information and evidence for the trial.
• Work within a team consisting of a managing partner, associate, and paralegal.
• Meet a billable requirement of 2000 hours, ensuring that every work hour is efficiently utilized.

• Possess a valid license to practice law in the state of California
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation associate
• Experience in Civil Litigation
• Ability to Draft Motions effectively
• Experience in conducting Depositions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong ethical and professional standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
