Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to production departments.
- Provide engineering support to Maintenance Department and Building & Systems.
- Provide engineering support for upgrades, replacements, equipment, and construction projects.
- Manage and work on various projects as assigned by Plant Manager.
- Requisition funds, contact contractors, and acquire bids for projects.
- Oversee work to insure projects are completed within budget, time restraints and meets safety standards.
- Safety Leadership – Embodies commitment for a safe workplace; acts as a role model on safety leadership, activities and communication
- Accountability –holds self-accountable evidenced by say/do ratio, initiative and ownership actions (such as ensuring safety is more important than productivity
- Communication – ability to communicate safety, goals and company expectations with appropriate levels of the organization; create clear, timely audience appropriate messages (both written and verbal).
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Leadership abilities.
- Organizational Skills including Computer Skills.
- Ability to work on many projects at the same time.
- Excellent communication skills.
