Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee the maintenance, compliance, and optimization of our fleet and equipment. This leadership role is essential to ensuring our team has the tools and vehicles needed to meet our customers' expectations.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage the maintenance, repair, and operation of the company’s fleet, including heavy equipment (backhoes, skid steers, excavators) and medium-duty trucks.
- Supervise a team of up to 4 personnel, including 2 mechanics and a Lube Truck Operator.
- Track fleet costs, identify trends, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including DOT requirements.
- Assist in acquiring new equipment and advising on fleet needs.
- Oversee vendor relationships for repairs, fuel, and supplies.
- Utilize fleet management software to monitor and improve operations.
- Identify, implement, and continuously improve fleet management processes.
- Contribute to the fleet budget by tracking expenses and assisting in financial planning.
Requirement:
- Proven experience in fleet management, with a strong understanding of heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Leadership experience, including supervising mechanics or operators.
- Proficiency with fleet management software and related tools.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to analyze data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Pay Range: USD $70.00 - USD $80.00 /Yr.
