Job Overview

Mid-Level: 4 to 6 years of experience | Full-Time | Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India | Salary Range: Competitive

• Proven experience as a Stores Manager or similar role in a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively lead and supervise a team
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in using inventory management software
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field

• Manage and oversee the operations of the stores department, including inventory management, stock control, and procurement
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including regular stocktaking and reconciliations
• Ensure efficient and effective utilization of storage space
• Supervise and train store staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill stock requirements and handle any stock-related issues
• Monitor and analyze sales and demand trends to forecast future stock needs
• Implement and maintain standards for handling, storing, and delivering goods
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the stores department
• Contribute to process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
