Program Analyst
Objective/Summary
The Program Analyst provides program support for a project involving systems integration, systems development, and business process reengineering. This position will interact with customers, both military and government, gather requirements and data, perform technical writing, and construct decision models based on relevant business intelligence.
Essential Functions (including but not limited to)- Assist with development of a DoD system supporting the tracking personnel and readiness
- Assist in the development of user guides and classroom training material
- Assist the systems development and provide work group and administrative support for those sponsored teams/work groups developed to support related programs and efforts
- Interact with customers, both military and government, gather potential requirements and data, perform statistical analysis, and technical writing
- Ability to articulate with sufficient clarity to be readily understood by line commanders, local administrators, senior officials, and project team
- Possess sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills and social sensitivity to relate constructively to a variety of contacts from diverse backgrounds
- Possess familiarity and demonstrated experience with DOD military readiness programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Have the legal right to work in this country
- Ability to pass a background check required
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
