Front of House Supervisor - Tide to Table

Overview:

As a FOH Supervisor, you’ll support the management team by overseeing staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include assisting in daily operations, training team members, managing schedules, and upholding safety and quality standards throughout the restaurant.

  • Front of House Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
  • Perform duties such as serving, bartending, hosting, bussing, and food running to ensure all aspects of service are covered when needed
  • Training staff to follow restaurant procedures Maintaining safety and food quality standards Keeping customers happy and handling complaints Complete end of day cash drops
  • Complete daily F&B reports
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed Keeping track of employees’ schedules and performance Managing and monitoring the service levels at the restaurant
  • Ensure all SLED laws are being followed in the establishments
  • Ensure the proper standards of opening and closing the restaurant is achieved
  • Ensure proper communication within the department by conducting regular meetings with all team members.
  • Recruit new hires, training, coaching and counseling team members, following company, state, and federal regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • What are we looking for?
  • Flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts
  • 2 years in a previous restaurant management or supervisory position
  • Bartending experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with computers and general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
  • ServSafe Certified is a plus, but not required
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for long periods of time
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors
