Marketing Assistant - Robert Half

Robert Half is seeking a Marketing Assistant for our client in the Construction/Contractor industry, based in Mandeville, Louisiana. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing various marketing efforts, assisting with project pursuits, updating company and personnel profiles, and managing our online presence.

This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans
  • Assist with the preparation of project proposals and qualifications
  • Update resumes for office and field personnel upon project completion
  • Maintain and update the company website and project sheets with new projects, awards, and other relevant information
  • Regularly update social media platforms in line with the content management strategy
  • Coordinate project photography and maintain project photos on the company server
  • Prepare and disseminate press releases as needed
  • Participate in marketing- and community-focused events.
  • Provide administrative support including typing and designing general correspondence, proposals, memos, charts, tables, business plans, etc.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all corporate matters
  • Collaborate with other administrative personnel to accomplish organizational goals
  • Assist in the preparation of annual award submittals
  • Attend industry-related conferences as requested
  • Utilize skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, CRM, Facebook Insights, Advertisements, Brand Awareness, Bid Proposal, RFQ Process, Compose Correspondence, Construction Estimating, Adobe Photoshop, and Photoshop Illustrator
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with CRM and Facebook Insights for tracking customer engagements
  • Ability to develop effective advertisements to enhance brand awareness
  • Knowledge and understanding of the bid proposal and RFQ process
  • Strong written communication skills to compose correspondence
  • Familiarity with construction estimating processes
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with multiple departments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in the construction or contractor industry is a plus
