Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent - Top ENR Southeast GC - Charlotte will:
- Assist the Superintendent in managing and overseeing day-to-day construction site activities.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews to ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor the project's progress and assist in troubleshooting any delays, issues, or conflicts that may arise on-site.
- Ensure that the construction site is organized, clean, and in compliance with all safety requirements, enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of site logistics, including material handling, equipment usage, and traffic management.
- Ensure timely delivery and installation of materials, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track.
- Perform quality control checks and inspections, ensuring that construction work meets design specifications and industry standards.
- Track and report progress, including daily reports, punch lists, and other documentation required for the project.
- Communicate effectively with the Superintendent, project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
- Assist in managing project documentation such as submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Support the resolution of any issues related to construction methods, materials, or equipment that could impact project timelines or budgets.
- Assist with scheduling work, including coordinating the sequencing of trades and reviewing the construction schedule with team members.

The Successful Applicant
The Superintendent - Top ENR Southeast GC - Charlotte should have:
- 2+ Years as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent with a General Contractor
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- OSHA certification preferred
- Project management software proficient
- Effective communication skills to interface with both clients and field staff
