The successful applicant must be able to maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day warehouse operations, and provide impeccable customer service to our clients.
Driver Responsibilities
General summary of duties
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Able to maintain high levels of safety while driving
- Provide impeccable customer service to our clients
- Pick up and deliver product, loading and unloading freight
- Making deliveries to facility and assist with loading and unloading skids
- Maintain an E-Log for driver’s daily maintenance checklist, pre/post inspections, and bring returns back as needed
- Participate in all safety programs and required training
- Demonstrate behaviors with a clear safety focus for employees and the community
- Engage in all plant initiatives, identify near miss incidents
- Perform job duties to satisfactory levels in support of the business and the team
- Prompt arrival at start of shift and appropriate breaks
- Janitorial duties as assigned to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Safely operate electronic pallet jack/forklifts to unload/load pallets and IBCs from/on trailers and containers
- Other related job duties as required or requested
- Current, valid US driver’s license
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities, and have exceptional attention to detail
- Able to work under deadlines, work effectively with others and work in all weather conditions
- Ability to push and pull pallet jack, able to operate an electronic pallet jack is required
- Able to work in a safe work environment by complying with environmental, health and safety
- Able to give and receive positive and constructive feedback respectfully and professionally
- Be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
- Must be able to communicate verbally or in writing
- Able to work overtime, including weekends
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3 years of previous truck driving experience required
- 26’ box truck or higher
- Or 3+ years of driving experience
