Contract to Perm
Provide strategic guidance, advice, and leadership to clients on all Human Resources related activities
Coach and advise managers in orientation, performance management, employee engagement, retention, career development, and other HR related matters.
Consult with and advise managers and employees on employee relations matters
Work closely with managers and employees to mitigate human resources risks
Partner with Talent Acquisition Consultants to provide recruitment, selection and hiring actions
Manage salary administration and internal equity for new hires, reclassifications and reorganizations.
Arrange for and/or provide HR related training to clients/staff.
Educate managers and supervisors on their obligations under the contract and how to work cooperatively with union representatives.
Guide managers on workplace policies, procedures, and decisions to ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement
Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
6+ years of relevant HR experience in roles like HRBP or similar
Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR policies and practices; business acumen.
Demonstrated experience with the administration of bargaining unit policies and procedures.
Broad HR expertise including employee relations, recruitment and retention, training, compensation, performance management, and organizational development.
Strong consultative skills and strong employee relations and staffing experience (including union)
