- As appropriate, establish and maintain solid relationships with internal Aon and Aon Global Risk Consulting leadership and individual decision makers for client accounts.
- Use Aon resources wisely and in a cost-effect manner, establishing achievable budgetary parameters and meeting such parameters on a consistent basis.
- Collaborate with AGRC’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) Consulting Team to:
- Provide input into Engagement Proposals for BCM services
- Develop, implement, and administer strategies, project plans, policies, techniques, and services for the sale of BCM services to targeted Aon clients and prospects.
- Effectively manage time and resources to ensure adherence to Engagement scope and allocated consulting hours.
In performing/facilitating direct BCM services to clients:
- Ability to Lead client engagements as a Team Member on all facets of BCM consulting.
- Develop reasonable and actionable Project Plans for BCM Engagements.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify, assess, quantify, and rate areas of risk.
- Develop general and tactical plans for:
- emergency response/life safety programming,
- crisis management & crisis communications
- business continuity and resiliency
- information technology disaster recovery (as related to Business Unit Continuity)
- Develop exercise and training activities for key client personnel on their roles during response and recovery activities.
- As necessary per a specific Engagement, recommend controls and monitor the effectiveness of the controls after BCM implementation.
- Develop governance policies and procedures for long-term maintenance (including exercising) of BCM strategies, plans, & programming based on industry best practices and standards.
Skills and Experiences that will lead to Success:
- BA or BS Degree. Post Graduate degree a plus.
- Business Continuity Certification (BCI or DRII) a must. CISSP a plus.
- 10 to 15+ years of progressively challenging emergency response, business continuity, and/or disaster recovery planning experience across a number of industries and geographies.
- Strong understanding of NFPA 1600 and ISO 22301 (as relates to BCM)
- Conversant in leading BCM-oriented software packages and Emergency Notification Systems tools.
- Advanced user – Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio.
- Proven track record to handle multiple concurrent priorities.
- Ability to analyze and comprehend sophisticated data and processes, identify gaps and regularly report on resolutions.
- Excellent relationship building/collaboration skills across a number of audiences (internal & external).
- Strong project management and oral communications and skills.
- Ability to author custom reports that clearly communicates findings and methodologies with minimal management supervision.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% - domestic and international. Valid and active Passport Required. Successful candidate must be located ideally within 50 miles of a major US airport.

Pay Transparency:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 to $180,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
