Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in the organization’s financial operations by:

• Analyzing and managing the cost structure of manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Preparing and maintaining accurate cost models and forecasts to support management decisions.
• Collaborating with operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance production efficiency.
• Conducting variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs) and reporting key insights to leadership.
• Ensuring the integrity of the general ledger in relation to cost accounting data.
• Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Contributing to budgeting processes and providing cost-related inputs for strategic planning initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work cross-functionally.
