Responsibilities:

A day in the life of a Warehouse Supervisor is never the same but, in this role, you can make a positive impact as you work with warehouse associates to ensure productivity, excellent customer service and efficient operations for a leader in the plastics manufacturing industry. Responsibilities included, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise the day-to-day warehouse activities within your area such as shipping, receiving, selection, loading and/or storage.
  • Maintain warehouse reporting on related key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse and shipping procedures.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of and report any issues related to equipment.
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate day-to-day scheduling of associates.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or relevant industry experience is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of warehouse distribution experience is preferred.
  • Distribution experience within the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding leadership and training skills is essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and have good follow through to meet deadlines.
  • Must have the Ability and willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) is required.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is critical.
