Job Description
  • Leads Quality Assurance planning by identifying key quality elements and coordinating preventative measures to ensure product quality.
  • Develops, monitors, and maintains procedures, corrective actions, and process verification systems.
  • Validates process systems to ensure consistent product and production quality, maintaining a well-documented system.
  • Organizes and multitasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with strong communication skills for internal and external customers.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance standards, practices, and methodologies, including APQP, IMDS, and PPAP.
  • Achieves QA objectives by implementing production, product, and inspection systems to establish quality objectives across manufacturing.
  • Determines product specifications and attributes, implementing control requirements critical to quality.
  • Validates process and product control by establishing specifications, quality attributes, product acceptance criteria, and measuring outcomes.
  • Implements statistical methods and analysis to drive quality control using data insights.
  • Conducts root cause analysis on products outside specifications, determining and implementing corrective measures.
  • Clarifies and ensures compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).
  • Collaborates with Manufacturing and Process Engineering to improve current processes using Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
  • Ensures color accuracy in finished products, maintaining visual acceptability and reliability to a known value/scale.
  • Oversees all quality-related accreditations (e.g., ISO-9001, MED/MER) and leads Internal and External Audit activities.
  • Manages the Nonconforming Material (NCM) process.
  • Defines, updates, and enforces the Control of Change procedure.
  • Supervises timely and accurate data entry for all services performed.
  • Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures daily satisfaction of internal and external customer needs.
  • Evaluates product quality suitability for use.
  • Publishes loss reports (in-process and inspection).
  • Oversees supplier quality improvement, including conducting on-site audits.
  • Identifies and promotes continuous improvement projects.
  • Observes and enforces safety, PPE, and quality procedures during task completion.
  • Provides customer service support.

The Successful Applicant
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10 years of industry relevant experience, minimum 5 years of experience leading/managing
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a quality assurance team.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
