Responsibilities- Handle the accounts payable duties, ensuring all financial data is up to date.
- Manage the entry of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee account coding activities to guarantee correct allocation of expenses.
- Handle approval processes for financial transactions to maintain financial control.
- Manage wire transfers to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Address discrepancies in accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy of financial information.
- Utilize Excel for financial data management and reporting.
- Operate accounting software systems for efficient financial management.
- Use Yardi property management software for real estate specific financial tasks. • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting
- Demonstrable proficiency in accounting software systems including ADP
- Financial Services, Concur, ERP
- Enterprise Resource Planning, and Yardi Software
- Proficient in Excel formulas and other related applications
- Strong knowledge of account coding, auditing, and automated clearing house (ACH)
- Experience in handling approved invoices, code invoices, and coding invoices
- Familiarity with bank reconciliations and monthly bank reconciliation
- Solid understanding of accounting functions
- Experience in using Yardi Property Management
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
