Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly group substance abuse counseling sessions for male and female inmates with Opioid use Disorder as part of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program
- Requires knowledge of the treatment modalities such as Methadone, Suboxone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol medications.
- Provide psychoeducation about substance abuse to male and female inmates with Opioid use Disorder
- Data collection and data entry
Qualifications:
MAT/Substance Abuse Counselors:
- Valid CPR card
- CADC or LCADC
