As a Business Objects Specialist you must have a strong background in SAP Business Objects 4.1 internals, configuration, processes, procedures and technology.
- You must have had responsibility for modeling, configuration, implementation, and end to end testing of Business Object implementation for a large group or organization.
- You must have knowledge and experience with both DW and BI security architecture, especially involving disparate platforms such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Active Directory (AD).
- You must have experience developing processes and procedures in support of a large enterprise BI/DW environment.
- You must be able to follow software development processes, prepare detailed documentation and generate work estimates in an SDLC environment.
- You must be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget.
- Must be able to work with Business Customers, Section Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a professional and collaborative manner to define strategies and implementation approaches.
- Must be able to work with the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence and Data Administration Teams in a professional and collaborative manner to ensure that data models comply with organizational standards.
- Must prepare all required artifacts accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to develop processes and procedures for BI/DW infrastructure.
- Must be able to work independently in a team environment with local and remote teams
- Must possess knowledge of project management methodologies both traditional and Agile/Scrum
- Must perform related work as assigned
