Electrical Engineer (12+ month contract)
On site: Minneapolis, MNW2 hourly contract: $55.63 -$61.72 per hour*

Electrical Engineer to support the development, testing, fabrication, and fielding of highly complex military equipment.
As a senior electrical engineer your day to day responsibilities will be to:-
Research, plan, design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic and electrical systems and components. -
Utilize advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures. -
Evaluate vendor capabilities, technologies, services and their ability to deliver required products or services.-
Work under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. -
Provide detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.
Attributes, skills and experience required for success in this role include:-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum of 3 years of related experience (or 2 with a master's degree), to include:-

Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis -
Experience developing technical documentation - such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis- Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge-
Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings. -
Ability to create and manage interface control documents. -
Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice) -
Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results to customers.-
Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards -
Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW -
Familiarity with computer programming languages, e.g. C, C#, LabWindows/CVI -
Working knowledge of OrCAD and Visio, circuit board schematic & layout tools -
Familiarity with design for components in a high EMI environment -
Systems Engineering and manufacturing knowledge preferred. -
Knowledge of rechargeable batteries and battery management systems a plus- Experience with engineering design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for military systems.-
Experience with integrating Field Programmable Gate Arrays and development of electronic control logic desired.-
Experience with developing and integrating power generation, conversion and storage solutions.-
Experience in the development and integration of ammunition handling/loading systems including autoloaders and large caliber rammer systems a plus.
