We are in search of a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As an Accounting Clerk, your primary role will be to handle various accounting tasks in the Real Estate industry. You will be responsible for reconciling accounts, managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, and utilizing software such as Yardi.
This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:- Handle cash receipts efficiently
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform account reconciliations accurately
- Utilize DocuSign for documentation purposes
- Open and distribute mail within the team
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action
- Ensure accurate data entry of customer information
- Utilize Yardi software for various accounting tasks
- Operate on-site for four days per week, with remote work on Fridays. • Possess an understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Demonstrated proficiency in data entry
- Experience with Yardi software is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Solid organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an accounting role is desirable.
