Senior Accountant - Nonprofit

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Experience with Fund Accounting, General ledger, reporting, and functional areas of accounting such as A/P, A/R, and payroll
• Good organizational and time management skills. Setting priorities and communicating with the team.
• Strong sense of confidentiality and strong ethical standards.
• Good systems skills including advanced Excel.
• Minimum of four years of accounting experience in a non profit or public school system working with the reporting requirements.
• Team player with strong communication skills with all business partners.

• Journal entries and account recs
• Month end close and reporting
• Maintain fixed asset schedules
• Monthly bank recs
• Assist with the annual budget and monitor year to date data
• Follows policies and procedures including educating others on the team in these area.
