Administrative Assistant
Overview:
ASTI Environmental, a division of PEA Group has an opening for a part-time, experienced, detail-oriented, well organized Administrative Coordinator to be an integral part of our team that supports ASTI staff and clients. This position is specifically Monday - Friday 1 pm - 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Answering a multiple-line business phone
- Greeting walk-ins (clients, vendors, repair people, etc.)
- Accepting deliveries
- Managing copy machines, kitchen and shipping areas
- Entering client and project data into an Outlook Global Calendar and tracking deadlines
- Maintaining kitchen and office supplies
- Completing general office duties as assigned by the Office Manager
- Assisting with event logistics and luncheons
- Compiling reports electronically and paper versions, upon request
- Completing miscellaneous projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven writing and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Pleasant phone manner
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good working knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, spelling and style.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely a sedentary role: however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Availability
This is a part-time position and will average around 20 hours per week. Work days are Monday through Friday iafternoons n our Brighton office.
