Overview:

The Logistics Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the receipt, audit and storage of both local automotive parts (LP) and Complete Knock-Down Parts (CKD) to ensure that MOBIS is able to meet production assembly demands for all products. (Supply Chain Managing) The incumbent develops and maintains the department’s standard operating procedures, and monitors, and manages goods received by using the Electronic Receipt System (ERS).

Manages subordinates’ priorities and operational timeline to ensure timely receipt of all shipments.

Responsibilities:

(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and policies for the receiving department.
  • Ensure all work is performed by procedure, including loading/unloading, package waste, and inbound parts audits.
  • Train newly assigned Team Members.
  • Audit Team Members’ work for productivity and accuracy.
  • Achieve daily productivity goals by leading and motivating warehouse Team Members.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure equipment condition is safe.
  • Ensure OEM service parts and customer orders are properly handled within the warehouse.
  • Unload trucks containing inbound service parts, verify quality and quantity of all inbound parts shipments.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or 3 years equivalent industry specific experience required
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience in the Automotive industry (Preferred)
  • SAP experience (Preferred)

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal management skills

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification (Preferred)

Working Conditions: 0630-1500 Shift Work (Subject to Change), Walking and Standing on the production floor, occasional travel as needed.
