We are seeking an interim Controller in the chemical manufacturing business. This role presents a short term contract employment opportunity that involves overseeing financial operations within a Chemical Manufacturing business. As a Controller, you will be handling tasks related to accounting, auditing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Must speak fluent Spanish. Must understand Mexico GAAP. 100% remote.

Responsibilities:
Must speak Spanish
Must have experience with and understand Mexico GAAP
Must have manufacturing industry experience- Oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Carry out monthly end close procedures efficiently.
- Oversee and manage costing, revenue, and inventory reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with Mexico GAAP, understanding its nuances that differ from US GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage and resolve complex accounting functions and customer inquiries.
- Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management.
- Monitor and audit financial transactions and reports.
- Participate in budgeting processes and provide financial forecasts.
- Implement and maintain Cost Accounting procedures.
- Ensure all financial operations align with company policies and business objectives.
