Job Description
  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects
  • Ensure quality control and resolve any arising issues or delays
  • Review and comprehend contract documents and drawings
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean and safe site
  • Document daily construction activities and progress
  • Manage construction schedules and project budgets
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • DOB License ideally
  • Will be commutable to all 5 boroughs
  • Ground up residential (preferably high-rise) project experience
  • Proficiency in construction software programs
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Superior leadership and communication abilities
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Construction Management, Engineering or Achitecture degree desired but not essential
