Full Time Painter, with specialisation in Rope Access
Surface Preparation: Strip old paint, repair damaged surfaces, smooth out imperfections, and ensure all areas are properly sealed to support long-lasting paint adhesion.
Paint and Finish Selection: Accurately mix paints, pigments, and finishes to achieve required specifications for durability and aesthetic consistency across diverse building exteriors
Application Techniques: Skillfully apply protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or airless sprayers, adapting techniques for high-rise and exposed surfaces.
Rope Access Painting Service: Painting, priming and rust removal via rope access. Painting of window frames, eaves, steel structures, facades or concrete walls. Choosing the right materials, paints and primers to achieve a quality painting job.
Safety Protocol Adherence: Set drop sheets, inspect safety gear, and follow all health and safety regulations to ensure both personal and public safety on high-rise sites.
Equipment Maintenance and Clean-up: Regularly maintain tools, inspect safety equipment, and leave work areas clear of debris, ensuring readiness for subsequent use.
Additional Maintenance Tasks: Conduct minor repairs as needed, such as replacing glass in windows, caulking, maintaining sealants, and touch-ups to prevent water intrusion and structural wear.
At least 5 years of experience as a Painter, of which at least 2 years in high-rise painting.
AQF Certicate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certicate IV
White Card
Work safely at heights
IRATA 3 certification
Must have strong experience in high rise painting with rope access technical expertise
Skills for rescuing the stranded technician during all rope manoeuvres.
Experience in materials inspection and management.

General and Industrial Painting Works: Paint Inspection, Surface Preparation, Painting and Coating Application, Colour Matching and Mixing, Surface Repair and Restoration.Surface Preparation: Strip old paint, repair damaged surfaces, smooth out imperfections, and ensure all areas are properly sealed to support long-lasting paint adhesion.
