Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The NP will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical exams, review medical histories, and assess symptoms to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe medications, adjust dosages, and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Conduct minor medical procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and administering injections.
• Monitor and track treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and NY state healthcare regulations.
• Engage in clinical research, mentor nursing students, and stay current with medical advancements.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Valid New York State (NYS) Nurse Practitioner license and registration (specialty certification must be consistent with practice).
• Alternatively, NYS-licensed/registered or NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant may also be considered.
• AHA BLS Certification (Required).
