Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a motivated and qualified entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Traffic Planning team in Austin, TX! In this role you will have the opportunity to oversee projects of varying size and complexity in the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities:
Typical projects include the following elements:
- Traffic Impact Studies.
- DOT Access Permitting.
- Parking Studies.
- Traffic Calming Design.
- Conceptual Roadway Design.
- Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 0-2+ years relevant experience.
- Engineer-in-Training preferred, valid driver’s license preferred.
- Increasing proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (as applicable).
- Demonstrate basic investigative, analytical and research skills.
- Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge and acumen (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, design software, etc.).
- Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge.
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team (i.e. collaborate, contribute, respect others).
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
- Demonstrate basic, general writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
