Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with key responsibilities in handling vendor disputes, vendor reconciliation, and processing data with high proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently carry out data entry tasks
• Handle disputes with vendors in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Conduct vendor reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
• Utilize Excel for processing data, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, basic sorting and formulas, and macros when necessary
• Ensure the Accounts Payable workflow operates smoothly and efficiently
• Process customer credit applications with attention to detail
• Maintain and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary
• Provide high-quality customer service, resolving customer inquiries promptly and in a detail-oriented manner.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Skilled in both alphanumeric and numeric data entry
• Demonstrated experience in general data entry tasks
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Familiarity with the transport industry
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using financial software and office productivity tools
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable.
