Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

We are in the financial services industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and are currently looking for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant. The selected candidate will join our team and will be involved in various aspects of project management, focusing on planning, executing, and finalizing office moves and office relocations.

The role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main liaison between Real Estate and Technology departments.
  • Define, execute, and manage project plans using Microsoft Project and/or Excel spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to establish project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Coordinate with resource managers to assign personnel needed to achieve project goals.
  • Manage change in project scope, priorities, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Schedule and lead project meetings and ensure efficient and timely communication with the project team, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.
  • Manage field technicians and vendor partners to support office moves.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project team members and stakeholders for the successful completion of the project.
  • Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Key Milestones, Define Scope, Identify Risks, and Bluebeam Revu to manage and track project progress.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Manager or Sr.
Consultant role within the Financial Services industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated experience with defining project scope and setting key milestones
  • Ability to identify project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them
  • Experience in managing relocations within a financial services environment
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring must be eligible to work in the U.S. for employment visa status.
