Oncology Pharmacy Technician Infusion Center

Responsibilities:

• The Oncology pharmacy technician must be committed to supporting the mission and goals of the infusion center to ensure provision of excellent patient care.
• Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the oncology pharmacy technician will be expected to safely and accurately prepare chemotherapeutics and other medications for patients while following USP 797 and USP 800 regulations and standards.
• Other tasks may include assignments to help support the goals of the infusion center and support efficient workflow.

• High School Diploma
• OR - GED - OR
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

• Relevant Experience

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) (must be obtained within 6 months of hire date)
